Meet Our Founders
Nathalie Laitmon
Founder
Nathalie has been a thought leader and expert in the human capital talent and recruitment field for over two decades. Intuition is her main tool, as she connects people based on alchemy and chemistry. Her strengths lie in understanding and articulating the core of a brand, corporate culture and individual.
After graduating from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations in 1995, she consulted in human capital consulting practices with clients at both Deloitte and Ernst & Young LLP, delivering programs to Fortune 500 companies and their employees globally.
Nathalie then spent time consulting at branding firm Siegel and Gale, honing her expertise in the art of authentic communication. She also showcased her skills in building teams at Solomon-Page Group, where she recruited human resources and operations experts for prominent global organizations.
After developing expertise in employer branding and recruitment, in 2002, Nathalie co-founded The Calendar Group alongside her husband Steven, where she cultivates a deep knowledge of her clients’ preferences, lifestyles and organizational cultures, finding them exceptional talent wherever and whenever they need it.
The anchor for her family, household and business, Nathalie is a mother to three incredible children: Jadon, Aurelia and Apollo. In her spare time, she writes fiction and is represented by The Book Group. She also loves yoga, the beach, masterclasses and hikes with her furry friends, Romeo and Moby. She is a huge advocate of entrepreneurship and helps others aspiring to launch their businesses or reinvent their brands.
Steven Laitmon
Founder
With a client-centric philosophy and exceptional listening skills, Steven has been passionately helping clients navigate complex transactions for over 20 years. His long-term client advocacy approach lends itself to relationships founded on longevity, trust and integrity.
An attorney by trade, Steven attended Emory’s Goizueta School of Business before receiving his JD from Cardoza Law School. He began his career in the entertainment industry at United Talent Agency and Sony Music, and produced the landmark, Emmy-nominated documentary, “The Untold Story of Emmett Louis Till.”
Steven is also a licensed real estate salesperson with Luxe Latitudes of Compass, where he works with luxury brokers in top markets across the country. During his time with The Calendar Group, he has been imbued with a unique perspective on the five-star service experience his clients expect and deserve. Together with Compass there are no markets where Steven does not hold a significant, trusted presence.
He has lived in Los Angeles, New York and Connecticut and now raises his family in Westport, where he has amassed a deep knowledge of the local area and market over the past 15 years.
A proud family man, Steven has three amazing children (Jadon, Aurelia and Apollo) with his wife and business partner, Nathalie. In his leisure time, he loves discovering new restaurants and innovative snack brands, playing Wordle, working out every day and taking long walks with his dogs, Romeo and Moby. He is also a lifelong competitive tennis player and available to hit any time!
